One of the best parts about Free Will Eats is that there’s an actual human behind it. If you have a question, a special situation, or just want a recommendation on what to order, reach out any time.
Pick your meals from the weekly menu by Thursday 6pm ET. Everything is cooked fresh on Friday and delivered Friday or Saturday across the GTA, portioned and labelled with full macros.
Four meals. Salads, desserts and drinks are extras and don't count toward the four.
It's a low bar, and honestly you'll eat them all anyway. Your cart shows a progress bar so you always know where you stand.
We deliver across the GTA, including Vaughan, Brampton, Etobicoke, York Region, Midtown Toronto and Markham, and anywhere else within 85 km driving distance of the kitchen.
Delivery is $11.50 up to 75 km and $15.00 from 75 to 85 km. It's free on orders over $125, or on a subscription of 12 meals or more. Beyond 85 km we can't deliver yet, so enter your address and we'll add you to the waitlist.
Orders close every Thursday at 6pm ET for that week's prep. Before the cutoff you can change or cancel your order yourself, from your account, for a full refund.
After it, the week is locked. Ingredients are already bought and prep is planned around those exact orders, so changes can't be made online. If something has genuinely gone wrong, get in touch.
No. Order one week at a time, whenever you like, and the price is the same either way. Subscribing saves your card and your preferences so the box arrives without you having to think about it.
Either works. Choose pickup at checkout and there's no delivery fee, or choose delivery and it comes to your door. You can switch between the two from one week to the next.
Debit and credit cards, plus whatever digital wallet your device offers at checkout. Payment is handled securely on the site, and we never see or store your card number.
Once meals have been delivered or left at the pickup spot they're in your hands, so make sure someone can receive them or that we have clear instructions for where to leave them.
If something comes up, tell me as early as you can and we'll work it out. There's a real person on the other end of that message.
They scale with how many meals are in your box: 5 to 9 meals is 5% off, 10 to 14 is 9%, and 15 or more is 12%. They apply automatically to every order, whether you subscribe or order once. 12 meals or more also gets free delivery.
Yes, from your account, before Thursday 6pm when the week is charged. Every longer term includes a set number of skips, shown when you choose it and on your account page; a skipped week, a paused delivery week, and cancelling a subscription order before its cutoff each use one, and once they run out you cannot skip or pause further weeks in that term. You can always cancel an order before its cutoff for a full refund, even with none left. On the flexible term you have unlimited skips and can pause for as long as you like, and cancelling costs nothing. If you cancel a longer term before its paid deliveries are complete, we charge an early cancellation adjustment that recovers the extra commitment saving you have had, never more than the cap shown when you chose the term, and the exact amount is shown before you confirm. You can also set your deliveries to every week, every two weeks, or every four.
We send your usual box. We repeat what you had last, fill any gaps from this week's menu, and skip anything you've told us to avoid. You'll get an email with exactly what's coming and exactly what you were charged. If we can't build a box we're confident about, we don't send one and we don't charge you.
We'll email you and hold the box while you update your card in your account. Update it by Thursday noon ET and the week goes ahead as normal.
New customers get $20 off their first order on orders over $75. It applies to meals, it's one per customer, and we apply it automatically at checkout.
Fresh. Always.
Everything is cooked on Friday and delivered within about a day of coming off the stove, so it tastes the way it was meant to. Nothing sits frozen in a warehouse for months waiting to be reheated.
Most meals keep 4 to 6 days in the fridge, and you can freeze them if you need longer. If your box has seafood, eat those first.
Every meal is different, so each meal page carries its own storage instructions and a best-before date counted in days from delivery.
This is the best part of meal prep. The container goes straight into the microwave and you have a proper meal in 2 to 3 minutes with basically zero effort.
If your inner chef starts talking, go for it. Pan, oven, whatever you like. Add your own sauces, seasoning or toppings. I'm Ukrainian, so sour cream somehow finds its way onto half of mine.
The meals are built to be convenient first, but flexible enough to make your own.
Very. Most land between 35g and 55g of protein, and the majority sit comfortably above 40g.
Every lunch and dinner is built around performance, whether you train hard, work long days, or just want food that leaves you feeling good afterwards. The goal was never plain chicken and broccoli. It's elevated comfort food that happens to be seriously macro friendly.
Big. Most meals are around 14 to 16 ounces of cooked food and are designed to genuinely fill you up.
Calories usually land between 600 and 900 depending on the dish, balanced across protein, carbs and fat. Some people finish one easily after training. Others split it into two smaller meals.
Every meal lists its calories, macros, full ingredients and allergen information. You'll see all of it online before you order, and every container arrives labelled.
Macros are calculated from our recipes and appear on every meal card, meal page and cart total. Portions are made by hand, so small variation between boxes is normal.
The menu filters by vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and calorie-controlled, and every meal lists its full ingredients and macros. High protein isn't a filter. It's every meal on the menu.
Yes. There's a notes box at checkout for preferences, requests, or anything else I should know.
The meals are sold as designed, though, so this isn't a build-your-own situation. The menu is a rotating lineup of dishes I've put real thought into. For anything to do with an allergy, use your profile rather than the notes box, because that's what the kitchen checks against.
When you set up your profile you can list your restrictions, dislikes and preferences, and the menu filters by vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and calorie-controlled. Everything we cook is halal.
If you have a serious allergy, get in touch before you order so we can go through it properly. Every meal page lists its full ingredients and allergen information.
We buy from suppliers we know and trust, including local seafood vendors and The Butcher Shoppe for our meat. Everything is cooked in a certified commercial food-safe kitchen.
Not at all. They're built with athletes and gym-goers in mind, because I am one, but this is food for anyone tired of the usual cycle: too much money on takeout, meals that leave you sluggish afterwards, or "healthy" food that tastes like a chore.
You shouldn't have to choose between food that tastes incredible and food that helps you perform. You should get both.
Care, and the fact that it's me doing it. I plan the menu, source the ingredients, cook the food, pack it and deliver it. My name is on every container that leaves the kitchen, which is why quality control isn't something I hand off.
I'm also coming at this from two directions at once, chef kitchens and high level sport, so the meals get built differently. Flavour and satisfaction matter to me as much as protein and ingredients.
That's why the menu moves between cuisines, comfort food and fusion ideas you wouldn't usually see in meal prep. It shouldn't feel like dieting. It should feel like you finally found a way to eat properly without giving up the joy of eating.
Constantly. The core menu rotates every one to two weeks, and if an idea hits me at 1am there's a real chance it lands on the next one. Creativity matters here as much as consistency, so there's always something new cooking.
Food should be more than something you have to get through during the day. It should be something you look forward to.
When your food is handled properly, when it tastes great, fuels you well and takes a whole job off your week, you get time and attention back. Your training, your work, your goals, your family. That's the freedom part.
Because they aren't frozen meals from the grocery store. These are made fresh, with real ingredients, proper portions and actual cooking behind them.
I've worked in several restaurants, competed at a high level, and spent years working out what makes food both enjoyable and functional. You can taste the difference between something made in a factory and something cooked by hand that week.
